Raped by a pastor in mathare

Ruth an orphan living with his relatives in mathare was a student at st peter academy Huruma mathare, a brave and hardworking pupil in class as her teachers narrates. Last year Ruth relatives had so many problems which they could not afford to paying her schools fees forcing Ruth to stay at home for the whole month while her relative were looking for alternative means of taking to school, her relative went to their local church to look for help from their pastor In which he accepted to help fundraise for Ruth.

The following day the pastor visited Ruth’s homes since he was invited to by her relatives so to pray for them so that God can open ways in order of them to get money. After prayers the pastor insisted that he needed to see Ruth in which her guardian had no alternative but to call Ruth in the sitting room were the pastor was sitting, the pastor told Ruth relatives instead him just sitting at home it’s good that she should be coming every week days to the church  to help organize church activities, the pastor explained himself to Ruth’s relatives that the intension was to give him platform to convince the church follower to help fundraise for Ruth since she was the worker at the church After three months Ruth started coming home late in which relatives were a little concerned about his movement s of coming home late from the church ,as her neighbor narrates.This went on for some month until it came to a time that Ruth become pregnant as her neighbor’s narratives they started seeing some signs of Ruth vomiting every morning when she eat anything she still vomit these led to some of the neighbors to tell Ruth’s relative in which they were so arrogant in responding to the neighbors calls to assist Ruth.  

After few months Ruth guidance’s started detecting something wrong in which they asked her what was wrong with her, the response they got from Ruth was not that pleasing to them in which they had to chase Ruth out of their house, Ruth spent the whole night out in the cold, the following morning one of her neighbor saw Ruth freezing outside sitting on a stone in which she welcomed her to his house and prepared a cup of warm tea to her. After several minutes the neighbor took the initiative of asking Ruth what was going on with her life in which she started crying but she later talked and what she needed was that the information was to be secret from her relatives as the neighbor narrates. After several minutes Ruth started talking when crying that one day when she was working in the church the pastor followed here she was going to the wash in which he attacked her later raped and threatened her that if she speaks about it to anyone he will organize a group people of thieves to kill her.

The neighbor took the initiative of mobilizing his follow women around the village in which they stormed the church with stones and later burning it down to ashes ,after several month Ruth delivery date arrived in which she was said to be carrying twins abnormally Ruth was transferred to Pumwani hospital in which she was pronounced dead on her arrival.
