A chance to help slum children in Kenya

Jamii moja children fund is a non-profit organization registered under the societies act located in Nairobi, Kenya. Our God given vision is to reach children and youth who are orphans and need physical help with in the city of Nairobi as well as in the rural villages. We want to help them build confidence, maturity, and teach them to active members of their society.
The major problem in this area was that the number of HIV/ AIDS infected children & youth were increasing everyday and the HIV/ AIDS infected sick parents couldn’t take care of their children. Already, there were a big number of complete orphans who had lost both of their parents as well as many abandoned and neglected children.
After identifying the social worker and volunteers, the centre carried out recruitment and registration of the affected children. The recruitment started with HIV/AIDS infected children who were complete orphans. Then children were registered whose parents were sick of HIV AIDS.
